MAC OS X PPTP Vpn Setup

Connect macOS to a PPTP VPN gateway

Setup Instructions PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol) on MAC OS X
Follow these simple steps to install VPN on MAC OS X using the PPTP protocol.

Click on the “System Preference” icon.

Choose – “Network” to alter the network settings

Click on the “+ sign” on the left corner to add the VPN connection.

Click on the arrows on the right side of the “Interface” to open the menu.

Choose – “VPN” from the menu.

Set the VPN Type to “PPTP“, fill in the Service Name and click on “Create“

Click on the arrows on the right side of the “Configuration” menu.

Select – “Add Configuration…“

Fill in a Name and click on “Create“.

Fill in the Server Address (you can find this in the Welcome mail we sent) and fill in an Account Name (you can choose this).
Then click on “Authentication Setings…“

Fill in the password (you can find this in the Welcome mail we sent). Then click on “OK“

Click on “Apply“.

Click on “Advanced“.

Make sure you enable: ? Send all traffic over VPN connection.

Click on “Connect“. You are now connected!

First connection usually takes not more than a minute. After connection you should now see the VPN connection successfully established.

Now all your traffic is secure and you are 100% anonymous!
